The Wedding

Overview

WE ARE GETTING MARRIED! And we are SO excited to share our joy with all of our family, closest friends, and neighbours.

Because so many of you are joining us from afar, we’ve decided to try to make the weekend worth the work of getting to the wilds of Scotland – so we’re celebrating this occasion across three days: 29, 30, and 31 July 2022.

We’ll be kicking things off with an outdoor hog roast and cèilidh at Bardmony House on the Friday evening to get everyone in the party mood – so bring your dancing shoes and prepare to try out a traditional Scottish dance or two! Don’t worry – we’ll send everyone home in time for a good night’s sleep so we have plenty of energy for the next day!

Saturday is the magic day – this is the day we finally say “I do!”. We will be hosting the ceremony and reception at Bardmony House, and look forward to welcoming you all back for a second day.

For those that want an opportunity to see us before they head on to their next adventures, we’ll also be hosting a drinks reception on the Sunday afternoon at Bardmony House – just a laid back affair to allow us to say farewell and thank you all for coming!

Hopefully this overview provides an idea of what to expect over our wedding weekend. Of course, you don’t have to join us for all three days, so if “just the wedding” is your jam, that’s absolutely fine – but we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to be with us across the whole weekend.

Please see each individual section for further details.
